Finally finished Game Of Thrones last night. Was as great as everyone says. Not sure when I will start A Clash Of Kings. Got a couple of other books I want to finish first. But I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

There's a box set I picked up on Amazon of the first four books of the series for $20. One book is around $12. It's a pretty great deal.

Spartan Gold by Clive Cussler. This is my current read. I have 3 books I need to read from this author, and I'll be caught up for the time being. All of his books have been excellent.

Term Limits by Vince Flynn.

My first journey into fiction in many many years. It's not too bad but pretty long and hard to keep track of all the characters.

"The Overton Window'' By Glenn Beck. Got it a couple days ago, almost half way done with it. It's pretty good.

A friend of mine praised this book like no other and I figured now is a better time than any to read it with the movie coming out this year and all

It's a love-letter to Billy Beane and how he ripped off GM's like Steve Phillips -- written while Billy Beane's still GM. Notice how the A's don't flip players like they used to. What an idiot.

Michael Lewis is a great writer tho

Starting reading Killing Pablo by Mark Bowedon. I don't read books much (haven't really read one, other than about photography/film since high school a couple years ago). I'm about 60 pages in, with about 300 to go & it's absolutely fascinating.

I've wanted to read the book for a while, but never interested enough to buy it or go to a library and get it out but my parents bought it from a garage sale and thought I'd give it a shot. It's interesting learning about the prelude to the Columbia that allowed a man like Escobar to rise up & how he managed to convince people he wasn't some murdering, scumbag, drug kingpin. I'm a little surprised at how much is left, considering it's already gone through quite a lot, but I guess the book is titled "Killing Pablo" afterall, and I haven't got to the part where people attempt to take him out.

The New Dead by Christopher Golden; it's a collection of stories by various people including Max Brooks. So far I'm about halfway into it, only story I did not care for was "Copper" and that's because the writing was just... bizarre in the way it was depicted. Still got GoT to read.

I'm almost halfway through A Storm of Swords.

I really can't wait til next year when the last book of The Morningstar Saga comes out. It's a zombie trilogy, written by Z.A. Recht. He died almost 3 years ago, so a ghostwriter is finishing the 3rd book. Z was a forum friend, so figure I get some amount of closure knowing his work wasn't left unfinished.

Should definitely check out The Morningstar Saga tho (Plague of the Dead, Thunder and Ashes) if you into zombies. Great reads.

like 7 chapters left in Storm of Swords.

It's the best book so far, I think. Can't wait to see it adapted to tv.

Started reading Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut. It's one I've been interested in for a while. I'm enjoying it so far, though the story is only really just beginning at the point I'm up to.
