Here's a burger recipe I tend to use.

1 pound of ground beef (usually 100% lean)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp grated parmesan cheese
pinch of light brown sugar
1 finely chopped onion
1 cup chopped bacon bits
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

mix all ingredients together and separate into individual patties according to whatever size you prefer. place patties in wax paper and flatten, then place in freezer for about 30 minutes or so. take patties and cook them, preferably on the grill to avoid losing any of the juices. serve with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and toppings.

Awesome recipe

Here's a tip no matter whether you fry or grill em, NEVER press em down with spatula. Takes juices out of em. They'll let ya know when they are ready to be flipped.

Oh yeah, what are you gonna do? Release the dogs? Or the bees? Or the dogs with bees in their mouth and when they bark they shoot bees at you?

Decided to bump the thread due to a magnificent find. I don't usually order burgers at restaurants due to bad past experiences, but I was out at pub trivia with some friends last night and ended up having one of the best burgers of my life.

10 oz black angus, cooked on an open flame grill, bacon, cheddar, BBQ sauce, lettuce, raw red onions, sliced jalapenos, & tomato on a butter grilled brioche roll, with hand cut sweet potato fries. If anyone's ever in the Providence RI area, check out Trinity Brewhouse and get the Brewer Burger. Perfect size, perfect amount of everything, and the fries were amazing.

Recently stuffed beef burgers with mint, garlic, and feta, then grilled them on the Foreman Grill. Fucking perfection. I served it on a pocketless pita with tzatziki.

Made this again, but this time I cooked some orzo with it and tossed it with tomato, cucumber, parsley, and feta with olive oil and lemon juice.

I made two pretty wicked Juicy Lucys the other day.

One I stuffed the burger with jalapenos from my garden and cream cheese to make a jalapeno popper burger.

The other one was queso and tortilla chips to make a nacho burger.

Threw them on my Traeger grill and smoked them with hickory for about 30 minutes.
